The Mama Behind the Blog

Hi there! I’m Rachel! I am a follower of Jesus, wife, mother, homeschooling boy mom, and dog mom living in central Pennsylvania. My auto technician hubby and I have been married for 12 years and love the life we’ve built together. We have 2 boys ages 4 and 8 who are our pride and joy. I have been homeschooling my oldest son for 4 years now and while there are definitely tough days, I love the opportunities that homeschooling has given me as a mother and us as a family!

I am blessed to work on an as-needed basis on my parents’ gamebird farm and the rest of the time I am able to be home with my boys. In my spare time I enjoy reading, cooking, baking, puzzles, gardening, and drinking tea! I love Summertime, the beach, and wearing flip flops anytime I can but also enjoy the crispness, beautiful colors, flavors, and sweater-wearing in Autumn.

The longer I homeschool, the more I have a longing to be an encourager to other homeschool moms so I’ve started this blog to do just that!
